A friendly word of advice for anyone to follow: if anything of value is won, either on a slot or table game, then take the win and walk away. It just doesn't make sense to have won, say $100 on a slot, then to put it back in the machine without cashing in; you'll only lose your money even more. So, for example, if playing a 1 cent slot and then winning $100, you've come out ahead. Take the cash slip to the cashier, and enjoy your winnings.

I've said it before, but Lydia is one of the FEW Vegas Youtubers that keeps it real! She probably gets less invites to "events" than other "influencers" because of her honesty.

They have those fake monks in Chicago also, we knew nothing about this the first time we encountered one while on vacation there. Just thought the dude was out there doing his lord's work and that it was kind of nice and pleasant until he got to the point and firmly "requested" a donation. When told we didn't have cash on us his entire attitude flipped on a dime, he took his bracelets back and stormed off.

Myself and my son went to Gold and Silver and did not expect to meet anyone from the show, but when we arrived ( on a Wednesday in August 2024 ) there were signs in the shop saying Rick would be in his bar on the other side of the car park at 1pm. We went in had a couple of beers and something to eat, and because we were sat at the bar got plenty of photos had a great time, and only paid for the food and drink so we really enjoyed the experience. When we left we then bumped in to Chumlee, got a another photo, no charge, so for us a great experience.

$22 is pretty expensive, but if you live in the area or are staying for a while and can do the $15 refill a couple of times then it's absolutely worth it

When I see the Venetian gondolas, I fondly recall the time they put the ice rink over it. I would love to see that return.

The characters also exist in New York City. I went to NYC on a field trip once and there was a ton of them! Fortunately I didn’t get scammed during my trip.
