I am currently pregnant with my first, and have been looking for resources and tips to protect my time with God, as I know it will change dramatically from my current routine. I pray while driving in the car too! Plus I put on the Armor of God for protection throughout the day. I miss it when I can't spend my time with Jesus. I will also listen to the Bible if I am too busy to sit down and study like I prefer to do. Thank you for these points!

In this season of my life, my current favorite time to spend time with God is after I've put my house to sleep for the night. It's a calm and peaceful time of night, and I love the way it makes spending time with God feel like I've just let out a huge breath. It's so calm. And even if I fall asleep over His Word or in the middle of prayer, I truly can't think of a better way to fall asleep!

I love that you give permission to shrink a Bible study. Because of outside influence (including social media) we believe Bible study has to look a certain, grand way.

Shrink it, stack it, and scatter it! Love your ideas! And this is something I can wrap my head around. My Bible reading revolves around deeper more academic learning with historical and cultural references. I’ve never tried a more simple approach with a devotional Bible so I think as a mom/grandma, this midnight mom devotional Bible would be worth looking into. Thank you so much for this encouraging video!

Beautiful bible. Love the little art that goes along with the theme of the bible. Love the idea of scattering our time with God so we have micro session with him daily and protecting our time with him is a must.

When I check my email, next to my computer I have neon pink notecards to memorize scripture one verse at a time. I have committed to sit and memorize one verse a day. Right now it is Psalm 19.

Oh my. Love this. Mine should be “Midnight Daughter” as my small child days are over but now am the primary care giver for my elderly mom with Alzheimer’s who lives in my home.
