Two tallest peaks of Tabla..
1. Ustad Shaikh Dawood
2. Ustad Ahmedjan Thirakwa
🙏

He is legend of legends.. Never went behind fame and recognition. He was an Encyclopaedia of Tabla and so simple. My Sashtang Pranaam 🙏🙏

The simplest of beats with great improvision and clarity. One of the greats 🙏

Ustad Dawood khan Saab is definitely among the pillars of classical tabla solo genre. Too sad he is not remembered enough.

Wah wah!!! Incredible.

We used to hear him at Sawai Gandharva Music festival in Pune.
He used to accompany Bhimsenji.
That was unmatched experience.
Thanks for the upload.

Its like a continuous flow like his hands are moving by some divine will.

Shaikh Dawood Saahab: One of the very few tabla artists who had an amazing taiyaari and crystal clear clarity.
