A zero clearance chop saw jig that's way better than a laser . It allows you to make incredibly accurate cuts every time or trim the smallest amount off safely .

By far the best zero clearance video. Love the detail of the screw holes and the reminder to restrict the blade hight! Great stuff
SUBSCRIBE. for regular videos . I hope you find this video useful. My chop saw is a Makita LS1019L . In my opinion the best on the market . If you are interested in me doing a full review of this chop saw then please let me know in the comments below .

Great video! Of all the zero clearance fence videos on YouTube, this is the one I'm using to build mine. The wax for contrast idea is brilliant. Does the wax leave much residue on your blade teeth? If so, does it clean up easily enough? I've never used wood wax before.

Hello Simon, I have not seen any video's on setting the depth cut on a plunge track saw with guide rail. There are many beginners who have plunge track saw but do not know how set depth cut with guide rail

I still place a piece of carpet tape under the jig for a tighter blade width cutting area.

To what extent, if any, does the back of the jig affect dust collection? When you were cutting I could see the dust boot moves behind the jig while the blade is cutting on the front side of the jig.
