The Mario Galaxy Movie is Actually Insane...

Why does everyone hate The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026)? It's probably due to its low stakes story, repetitive comedy, and horrible pacing which focuses on generating social media clips filled with easter eggs and references instead of making the full movie good. With Illumination Entertainment characters like Mario, Rosalina, Fox, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Bowser, and Bowser Jr., all voiced by people you recognize but don't really care enough about.
ALSO, THIS MOVIE CAN ACTUALLY BE A LOT OF FUN. IT'S GOT A LOT OF ISSUES AND ISN'T REALLY MEMORABLE, BUT THE SECOND MARIO MOVIE IS GOOD FOR KIDS TO WATCH ONLINE. IF IT'S ON NETFLIX THEN THIS IS PRETTY COOL HONESTLY.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is the highly anticipated animated sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), but the return has sparked plenty of fan backlash and negative reactions. With new Galaxy characters facing an increasingly insane threat, the movie has become a major target for searches about bad sequels, disappointing Nintendo movies, weak writing, forced fan service, and questionable story choices. Compared with video game-inspired hits like Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Detective Pikachu, The LEGO Movie, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, some viewers feel this sequel is overstuffed, chaotic, unnecessary, and too reliant on nostalgia and Easter eggs. 🌌🍄 #mario #cartoon #reaction
