It’s pretty shoddy that they don’t fit a surface mount fuse to protect the board, but I guess that’s the idea. Well done for finding the flaws.

Always leave the speaker leads out of the board connector till you reassemble the speakers when putting the set together after repair.

Hi in 2024 I bought from curry's a TV its a 55C745K TCL 55 inch Google smart TV  and since having it I've not been able to use the av socket it's the 1 on the side that looks like a headphone socket that you use a yellow cable that has a headphone jack you plug into the TV and it gives you the yellow red and white phono plugs to wire up a console or vcr the socket isn't working and has never worked how much would it cost to repair or replace that socket please is it a expensive part to replace the TV cost me £569 new and would rather get it fixed rather than get new TV as the picture is fine and everything else on it works fine it's just that socket could you please help sorry for the long message I really enjoye watching your channel on YouTube and have been a subscriber for about 3 months i think now your a wonderful person to watch and very inspiring to watch too love your work ❤❤
