There a number of gantry builds already on YouTube and they all get this part wrong.  They're too complex for the average maker.  They are also engineered to hold a full DSLR camera.  Many content creators nowadays use their phone - and that's what I do.  So I designed this system to be inexpensive and easy to build so anyone can make it without crazy tools or building complicated articulating arms from scratch. This version is designed almost entirely from off the shelf components.  I did design and 3d print a mount but I've posted the design on MakerWorld for free for anyone to download.  If you don't have a printer, message me and I can make one for you.
