This is one of the last things my late grandfather gave. He gave it to me to fix it since it wasn't working. And I was motivated to see if I could make it work and I stumbled upon your video

I got the af-1 mini infinity. Same lens as MJU. Weather sealed, AA batteries, tiny form. Absolutely awesome. Great autofocus and exposure.

my own mju cost me like 4 usd, I can´t believe it yet, but what a good deal, love it

thanks for sharing! love the Olympus brands, such a easy to use point and shoot camera ☺

This camera is addictive to shoot. I'm down to my last three, I'm keeping them all.

I still have the one that my wife bought over 25 years ago. The lens is surprisingly sharp, and the camera — though it looks a bit silly and simple — has autofocus and fill-in flash. It's kind of magical.

Review the Minolta TC-1 next 📸

Ah, back in school on 2018 moved towns and found 2 of these for 3€ each. No brainer, both worked well, used them at the same time for Colour and B&W and ended trading one for a flash that I haven't been using at all. I regret the latter a bit but still have one unit but I also thrifted an Olympus AF10 which might even have the same lens design, and that I haven't ever shot. No (cheap) color film stock left so maybe not a huge loss.
For a while my jam was to load up with some 400 ISO B&W and then nicely print those on 18x24cm RC paper in the darkroom! Medium format is then for more thoughtful shots.

Thanks for this video!:) I was not sure if I wanted to go with the ii or i

Great camera, the MJU II has a couple of extra tricks and can also be shot with a remote, the lens may be a little better too. I have 3 like this and 2 MJU II as well as a few of the zoom models. All good. I think this one is the most fun to carry and shoot though.

You raise a good point, the best camera is the one you have on you all or most the time. My heavy 120 cameras I have with me barely any of the time because they are a struggle to carry.

hi sir, is that Olympus Mju 1?

I love the ratio of this video ❤️

Hi! That’s a really nice video :)
May I ask how did you made your website?

i have this camera but i can’t get film easily where i live and its very expensive too, so it just sits in my self 😔

A good pocketable point & shoot 35mm film camera.  I have used both and prefer the Olympus mju 1 to the mju 2.
10 years ago these cameras sold for $20 in working condition.  Today they are selling for ten times that price.

4:58   I cary Long Drink as well. Blue original   (:  it doesn’t make for good developer though

The MJUi measures centre and edge light reading and will either use the flash or adjust the exposure to suit. Cameras like this can be made to focus through glass or to infinity by covering one of the autofocus windows but remember not to cover the light meter when doing this.

Hello. Loved this video! Do you edit the images? Thanks

Apparently, coz its quite an old camera, it doesn't date past the 90s. So its just like, stuck there! lol
