I think it’s been long enough that you could revisit this series. Worst teams of the 2000s and the 2010s.

Northern Illinois has been a D1 school for years and won the MAC and California Bowl in 1983 before going independent.

For someone who went to Ohio State, I've always liked the MAC. One brother went to Ohio U and the other to Kent State. MAC campuses are generally beautiful, and they keep sports in perspective.

The Runnin’ Rebels is the basketball team.
The football team are the
Rebels.
Nice to see UNLV football on the rise after so many seasons of despair.

I’m surprised that the 1997 Illinois team isn’t on this list they went 0-11

love the background music here, especially in the last 10 min

Surprised the ‘98 and ‘99 Gamecocks didn’t make the list.

loving the details on these videos big fan of flemlo raps and KTO and you have the same type of hustle keep them up!

What do more than half the teams on this list have in common…?

Mid American Conference.

Navy two winning seasons from 1990-2000

As of someone who’s an SMU Mustangs fan, I’m shocked the 1995 roster isn’t on the list. Much like the 94 Cougars, they only scored 12 points a game on average, and posting a 1-10 record. Their only win was against a mediocre Arkansas team. The most amount of points SMU scored all year was 24. We were one of the best teams in the 80s but somehow plummeted and went nowhere in the 90s. In fact, they only went above .500 ONCE that decade, in 1997. I’m glad our teams finally good, but still. The 90s and early 2000s were the absolute worst.

I like this channel hope I see more worst.

Looking forward to new content!

Are you going to continue this series through the 2010s? I want to hear about the 2012 or 13 Colorado team (I don’t remember which didn’t win a game)

I'm surprised the 1990 Vanderbilt team wasn't on there somewhere.  They did win a game against LSU but went 1-10, gave up over 41 points per game, and got slaughtered 44-7 by SMU.

As a Ball State fan I find it weird how in 1996 we won the MAC and made the Las Vegas Bowl and then by 1999 we went to complete shit. That's one of the many flaws in college football. Once your seniors graduate, the team always gets worse cuz of underclassmen and players who were primarily on the bench their first season or two.

You should have mentioned Prairie View A&M they didn't win a game from 1989-1998 which was a 80 game losing streak

The "High Standards" argument is a weak one at this point. Air Force and Stanford had winning teams. It was bad coaching. Trying to run schemes they didn't really have the personal for.

The MAC is so dang irrelevant. If the SEC and Big Ten leave and take the cash with them, a money game for G5 schools will be fewer and less money. I follow a school in the Sun Belt but even I realize the time have be coming SOON when most G5's, FCS schools will have to make a decision about continuing football. Could end up looking a lot like DII or even DIII. Even now, many of them are getting little "fans in the stands" from the students who are finding better things to do and there is just no TV money to be had.
