Gillian Anderson mentions at 17:54 that Stella Gibson is "so comfortable with who she is as a woman." A lot of female leads on screen are battling with gaining confidence in their identity. While that's an important process to depict, it's often depicted at the expense of writing characters like Stella Gibson. Usually, self-assuredness is reserved for male characters. So glad to see a woman on screen who is in a position of power and comfortable with who she is to remind us to make the same assumptions about a person's security in their identity no matter their gender.

the most disturbing thing about The Fall is that Jamie Dornan clearly got cast in Fifty Shades of Grey based on his performance as a serial killer in The Fall

Jamie Dornan , a man and actor, beautiful both inside and out! Wish him great success in his acting career and his personal life.

This series is absolutely brilliant!! I just cannot believe it was produced like 8 years ago? It doesn’t feel that way at all. I’ve only discovered it recently.

Gillian Anderson has still got it.

The giggling 50 shades fans in the audience really spoiled this interview.

It's interesting that they keep trying to pick apart her decision to run to Spector and not Anderson. There's this expectation that women are always emotional and will run to their hurt lover even if he's mostly okay. Her decision was logical and that bothers people as it defies their expectations.

Started the series lately and finding it so compelling and intense. So well done all way round. I hope Stella will come back in another series in the future.
