My niece had leukaemia aged three years she had two years of treatment but recalls very little of it. Occasionally a smell will remind her of some of the meds. Other than that she doesn't recall much.
Now, she is a Paediatric Nurse and will probably specialise in oncology.
The best noise in the world is the sound of children laughing, and the worst is hearing children cry.
Bless them all, their families and the WONDERFUL staff at these hospitals, from the cleaners to the radiologists, nurses, doctors, porters and cooks- they all contribute to care for all of us xxxx.
