Some guitars come with a really cool story, and this is definitely one of them. This guitar spent the first 64 years of its life in Idaho. For 25 of those years, its original owner kept it under the porch of his house, wrapped in a blanket, in the small town of Challis near the Salmon River.

This guitar has a story few can tell. It was found in a small town in Idaho — Challis — where the original owner kept it for 25 years under a porch, wrapped in a torn bedsheet he swore was a blanket.
But the story doesn't end there. The porch sat next to a river — not just any river, but a river full of piranhas. Yes, piranhas. The original owner insisted they were salmon. Nobody had the heart to correct him.
The guitar survived. The piranhas didn't.
The finish is original — with moisture damage, checking, flaking, and a refinished fretboard by our luthier, who did such a convincing job it almost looks like he didn't do it.
The pickups are original — and survived the piranhas.
The solder joints are original — they survived too.
The blanket — lost. The torn bedsheet — also lost. But the story — that's worth €47,500.
Jared James Nichols played it and said:
"This thing's sick. I can hear my fingers under the strings. This could be yours."
And it could be. As long as you pay €47,500 — and promise not to ask about the piranhas.
