This took a WHILE to finish. The editing is a bit worse than part one because the editing process was a mess, so sorry for that. Even though it is not as good as the first video, I am still proud of what I was able to accomplish. Also, originally, I had about 100 takes selected to review, but I needed to cut it down a lot because just the audio files were probably 90+ minutes. Also, like with the first video, I had no script, which might make it feel different from my usual content.
Anyway, thanks for watching.

I'd personally reccomend watching the video in 1.2-1.4 speed.

Hottake:
Enemy gauntlets are fun and serve as a similar obstacle as bossfights. I with there were more big serious gauntlets in Silksong similar to Coral Tower and High Halls one. Something like Colosseum of Fools would be a nice addition

10:30 me when the sequel of a game is similar to the game

I love bilewater actually and it's because of the following things

1) i found it's platforming section pretty fun tbh, once I got used to it I liked parkouring through it. It's meant to be challenging and annoying sometimes and I liked it for that
2) the lore. How it was a beautiful place before the citadel ruined it and turned it into what it is right now, I like all of that
3)is the music, I don't need to explain much about this one

I understand why people don't like it but all of the above is just my opinion

12:30 this would kill the absolute joy i feel upon discovering something new on a second playthrough

4:12 I think they need some more unique combo attacks to break up the regular telegraphed attacks you get used to in the clockwork version. That would really make the fight feel both more challenging and unique.

About the cogwork dancers fight, i think we forgot why people love this fight in the first place. The big point about it is the emotional arc of the fight, along with the music, its the confusion of the telegraphed attacks, the ramp up in speed and intensity, you get swept up in the moment, and then boom one of them dies, and you start feeling bad for the second dancer, the music becomes depressing rather than the upbeat elegance it was before, and then the whole green prince storyline ramps the fight up even higher in retrospect. It was never about the fight to begin with

Dude my problem with Wanderer crest when I first got it was that it was WAY too short. Genuinely WAAAAY too short. Could you imagine my surprise when I went on the internet and saw that the crest I deemed unusable was highly praised, while my goat reaper crest was deemed bad??? Genuinely unfathomable.

Upon getting used to it + getting longclaw I started to like it.
I should also mention that I never saw the importance of Longnail OR Mark of Pride in the first game.

22:10 we just vibe code all bosses and npcs until it works, who doesn't want to play as savage beast fly vs gruz mother in a platform fighting game?

@PursuitSk8 8 days ago

Hot take: crests don't all need to be balanced. Its fun to play around a crest with a weakness. Its more interesting doing a beast crest run or witch crest run than say a theoretical hard mode run if it existed.

@ShadowFireOnYoutube 2 weeks ago

For the witch crest one- I main beast crest with witch crest in second…

13:30 Luke-warm Take: Grimm's theme alone is so iconic and such a banger, it eclipses all base-game Silksong music.
Except maybe Seth and Nyleth's, because it gut punches my emotions so damn hard.

I think widow is so memorable is cuz she was the 1st boss fight where I felt the difficulty spike in a noticeable way. From that fight onwards I was really going to enjoy most of these fight (f u savage beastfly)

Imo, silksong has higher highs, but far lower lows than hollow knight.
There is no worse feeling in either game than grinding for geo, buying stuff, and walking back to the high halls entrance to grind for more.

@FranklinPolymath 2 weeks ago

I thought that the dreamer/melody being counterparts was the most obvious thing. they both serve the same function of unlocking the single door to the final boss.

@Blackma1L77 12 days ago

The witch crest bind should be cheaper

I'm so glad to find another Conchfly enjoyer. I was so confused when I finished the game and saw so many people hating on it. It's probably the only boss with minions in Silksong that doesn't feel spammy or annoying. By far the best non story-important boss in the game imo

12:49 this is a reference to the saying my steak is too juicy and my lobster is too buttery which is like say it’s too good

@ZephyrusX888 7 days ago

Bell Eater was great, I loved it's sheer size and the place it takes in the story as your intro to Act 3, but it's no Karmelita... She just has too much going for her.

@austino545 11 days ago

12:49 it's referencing "my steak is too juicy and my lobster is too buttery" lol, basically a sarcastic saying that a complaint is about something that is actually good.

So here this person means that their only complaint is that it's too good
