Never tried to lose weight though, accepted it for what it is.
But started training and dieting again recently and my experience is the complete opposite. Actually find losing weight really easy, as it always has been. Everytime I diet it's easier than the last time for me. Because every time I learn new things about myself and diet hax I can employ which just makes the process smoother. I started training and dieting at the beginning of august this year, 115kg starting weight. So out of shape that I got DOMS going to the supermarket and got runners high walking up a flight of stairs. Pretty rough start, but never found the actual dieting part hard. The exercise was the what made the first 2 weeks very rough.
Difference being, I do my diets fast. I just can't do slow diets that take years. I slash calories aggressively, massively increase steps to further the deficit and want my diet to be over as soon as possible so I can go back to maintaining. I'm down to 94 kg now, 21 kg (46 lbs). My target weight is ~80 kg, maybe push down a bit in the 70s to get down to 10% body fat again. I'm more than halfway there and surprised how well it's going. 21 kg in 64 days is really fast. Hopefully going to be done before Christmas.
