I just returned from a trip to Monterrey. I’ve always said Mexico is a beautiful country but the most beautiful aspect isn’t the country, it’s the people!!! They treated me like a vip. Great vid as usual man!!!

Dang. The 10,000 pesos home is crazy. A couple of roomates paying $190 each and you get your own room.. That's like College Apartment with buddy's back in the 80's.

Hi Ropey, my wife thinks you're cheap but I love the content! 3,000 vs 1,000 per month is a no brainer. Stay in San Cris and vacation in Playa.

You have to remember that property owners has bought their property, they spend lots of money. They have expenses, condo fees, fideicomiso, maintenance, they might have a mortgage, ect. Those cost do not go down in low season. As you don´t own a property, you dont realize this.

Hey RM. I ran into you on La Quinta in PDC back in late April. My partner and I are buying a home in PDC, and we were there to look around. I had seen many people stop you on the street, and I ended up doing the same LOL. After I called out to you I could tell you were trying to get somewhere, and I didn't want to take your time so we just say hi and I said that I was from New York. You told me to enjoy my trip and went on your way. So great that you always make time for other people. I also realize that can be a bit of a burden. I really hope our paths will cross again in PDC sometime when you return. I'd enjoy having a conversation with you. All the best in your travels. I know you are in Japan right now.

I kind of knew it but I have so many friends in PDC so I kept the bad parts out of my head. None of them were adventure seekers. I used to do boot camp runs over the coral and I will miss that but not the drinking culture and "I came to drink my life away" atmosphere. I am twice as old as you so weather rules me! Great info as also!! Update: My dentist in PDC is Coral as well. The states wanted $3,000 for a bad dentist sanding down my two front teeth for Invisalign and my dentist cost $500. for everything. Plus, my friend who does not even know there is a t in dentist, it had been so long, they put her on a periodontist plan and yelled at her!! THAT was a great day! USA would leach it out of you. Excellent breakdown of the two cities. Have to admit, I am not drawn to Playa....did heat/humidity for many years in my work abroad. Maybe next time you can spend some time in Guanajuato Capital, where I've been living/working part-time for past 6-years. It's either northern Argentina or San Cristobal when I make my next move....much older than most who watch these videos.....time waits for no one.....thanks again for your video!!
