In 1952, Norway had a population of 3.3 million. Norway literally lost 1/3 of its population in this war. Holy shit.

Imagine being Hitler, gun in mouth, hand shaking in the bunker and someone knocks on the door, "mein fuhrer, we've stabilized the front" and, later, "me in fuhrer, the soviets are at war with the west," and then somehow winning the war, looking back on that moment where you almost committed suicide in the bunker

Ain't no way the US can casually lose 25M men, and Americans still go "yeah, let's keep fighting this one"

Norway having 1 million casualties when they had 3.3 million people in 1952 is dirty

@PrestigiousWarrior6500 1 year ago

keep in mind the combined casualties of all three sides have actuality surpassed the real WW2 casualties by about 10 mil

Paradox needs to add a modifier that stops the constant naval invasions if they lose a thousand divisions in failed attempts. If D day got wiped out they wouldnt keep trying at the same spot 20 times in a row

this is the alternative history where the moustache man had a "lock in" moment while sitting in the bunker and decided to quit amphetamine
