I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I brought home 10 from my local pet store. Once everyone got situated in my heavily planted, cherry/amano tank, they got along perfectly well with everything. They have a laidback temperament and a wonderful personality. I love their subtle pink and turquoise iridescence when the light hits just right. They are a pleasure to watch. My cherry population has more than doubled since I’ve added them. They are much gentler around my plants than my Amano shrimp. I’ve also just witnessed a young adult cherry take a piece of food away from a slightly larger Cory — if that doesn’t say it all. Pygmy Cories and Oto cats are 99.999% Capybara level safe for ornamental shrimp

I love my Cory’s they are by far the cutest fish 🥹

Love my Pygmy Corys from y’all, they’re adorable! I love it when they hover like little hummingbirds!

I love my Pygmy corys (obviously!). In my experience, they are shrimp safe - I see all sizes of baby shrimp in my tank with Pygmy’s and never seen any aggressive behavior. Actually, the adult neocaridina will sometimes steal the Cory’s food.

I have them with blue dream shrimp and they are like best friends!

My favorite fish 😊

Flip Aquatics is great!  I have only had the opportunity to buy from you a couple of times, but everything has always been healthy and happy.😊

My Pygmy Corys are the cutest.

my emerald rasboras love the pygmy corys. they school together and hang out its cute.

I really wanted to see a close-up of over 100 cory’s 😢

I’ve been trying to breed albino Pygmy Corydoras. I’ve been baby but they keep disappearing and the only fishmates I have are blue dream shrimps. If I can get any advice that would be much appreciated.

I know you mentioned that sand is best, but how would CaribSea Super Natural substrate be? It is a very small grain gravel (.5 - 1.5mm).

I was planning to use silica sand for a substrate. Is that good? But also, I found containers made of pumice stone. I thought they might be good for plants that require planting, as I can put soil into the containers for those types of plants and the containers look like rocks, so look kinda natural. Question - Will the pumice stone injure Corys or Hillstream Loaches or other fish?

They are and in fact so so easy so is C.habrosus, but C.hastatus is a bit more tricky. Pygmy cory just keep giving babies as do C. habrosus I keep them with shrimp and  Hillstream loaches, Sewellia lineolata and Trinidad Guppy, Poecilia obscura because this guppy species is so small too all of my fish and shrimps have babies the only thing and that is a bit cute is that the Hillstreamers want their own stone to sit on the adults that is they do not care about if juveniles or a cory comes there but they do not like other adults on their patch and when you get to much babbies since the Hillstreamers is a bit bigger than your other fish they are so so easy to sell or trade in for some goodies at your LFS, but please also inform anyone that you might give this guppy babies too not to mix them with ordinary guppies, wild or fancy and no mollies in fact no other Poecilia species since they are endangered in their natural habitat and we all want to help this species to survive and not get DNA from other related fish. If you do not want any babies, the most fun thing you can do is commensalism that is to unrelated species that look alike and will HARD school  try getting the C.hastatus and Hyphessobrycon elachys the Reed tetra look them up and you see why they will swim together they have the same markings it is a flight/defense strategy it is so cool and neither of them are especially expensive and you can breed both species but it takes a bit more work than the other ones mentioned above. Cheers and ty for a nice channel, Sweden!

Love them so much I don’t know why I can’t keep them alive. They just slowly disappear over a year or so.

I have at least 9 pygmy Cory's in a 10 gallon tank for over 2 years would it be safe to and cherry shrimp? Oh and that's all that is in the tank. Thanks for sharing

Are there 2 types of pygmy? I have some that are half the size of the others and both fully grown. Also some have lightee coloration and along with the stipe they have circular marks especially on the head. Also some have all black eyes and others have yellow with black center.

I wonder how many people actually quarantine their fish 🤔
