Lots more videos similar to this on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/guitarlessonsvancouver  Thanks for watching everyone! 👍🎸

Ive been getting comfortable playing scales and Barre chords and the timing could not of been more perfect to come across your lessons !  Thank you !  Your chord and scale connector lesson and your Hammer double stops lesson has transformed my playing to the next level

I am absolutely devouring this lesson. I like how you just riff around the shapes instead of teaching a particular tune. One of my (many) flaws is once I learn a lick or a pattern I tend to go back to it instead of noodling around. In the past few days my noodling with this lesson has greatly increased my fret board knowledge. Perfect lesson at the perfect time in my development. Awesome job!

This is one of the best online guitar lessons I have seen in the last few years.  Amazing, very helpful.

This may be the single most valuable guitar lesson I've ever learned!  Connecting those chords to scale shapes... so effortless and easy!  Thanks!  You've unlocked something that I was missing.  Been noodling around with ideas on this for hours now!

I learned this lick years ago by learning the song "the wind cries Mary" and I can attest to this being the most useful lick ever. I would suggest everyone to learn the wind cries Mary by Hendrix. It was the #1 song for me to learn double stops.

This might possibly  be the best lesson I've ever had on YouTube

You are the best guitar teacher on Youtube. Your method makes it easy to visualize what notes in a scale to emphasize and makes it very easy to memorize. I just received your book today and am looking forward to spending a lot of time with it. I'm glad i stumbled upon your videos.

MAGIC! I’ve been trying to play for over 20 years and this is the key that has eluded me forever. Thank you!!!!!!!!!

Best info I’ve seen for years 😅

I feel like I've finally come across the right person to help me understand « the big picture», to explain it to me so that I finally understand. I've been watching guitar videos for years and I'm constantly improving and I'm already having a lot of fun, but now I understand the logic a lot better, how it works, how this language works. Seriously, a huge thank you from Quebec 🙏😄

I really like your way of teaching. Not just showing us how to play this stuff but also explaining why it works. Perfect mix of practical skills interwoven with theory in a clear and calm manner. Great stuff.

I certainly agree with a lot of the other comments! This is probably the most useful guitar lesson I have had in a quite a while! As soon as you mentioned the "let It Be" solo near the end of the video, the light bulbs went off for me!
You lessons are excellent and thoughtful! Keep up the good work!
I purchased your Soloing book and I have been using it regularly to compliment your online lessons!

It's fun to go back and watch your lessons, 2 years later.  I'm still learning from them!  Thanks!

Dear Brother for those who doesn't know to play Guitar this lick is a great inspiration please teach us more May God Bless you.bye 🙏

Bravo— after perusing the other comments I can see that I am not alone in acknowledging how talented the man is at both guitar playing and guitar instruction

What an elegant lesson. Thanks!

dude i just found you on utube and you are magic.  its the very thing i have been searching for.  it ties it all together for me.  please keep up the good work.  your way of explaining things make you the perfect teacher.

Great lesson , plenty of teachers talk about soloing over chords shapes , you are the first to explain how. Thanks man 🤙🏽

This couldn't have come at a better time, thank you so much for sharing and teaching!!! Love from Belgium!
