We noticed Shion was a bit too powerful, so we made the player feel like they’re lagging to compensate

would love the bike cd being shorter with less dmg to allow for a more flank heavy playstyle and less insta kill potential feel like it would be very fun

I would expect that in the mid-season they ignore any healthy suggestions and buff problem characters while removing the legs of healthy characters. Shion is a breath of fresh air but patches have not kept fun in the game for very long recently

I really hope they nerf the bike combo's obscene damage and significantly lower it's cooldown.Taking funny routes with it in a S76 type playstyle is so fun, but rarely the right move because of that million year cooldown, and the instakill you're giving up

i really like your design ideas because they add depth without bloat. it is still just three abilities but having more fluidity between abilities and more options when using abilities definitely raises the skill ceiling without becoming a nightmare for casual players to learn

I would argue the only time tech should be removed if it is necessary to get value from the character. Because at that point it should just be baked into base kit

I really wish camera lock on abilities and cc were waaaay less or gone. I think it drastically increases the flexibility and fun of the game

i love reload baiting with shion using her alt fire. i also like charging the right click then dashing to close the distance while shooting it

21:55 The way you describe it, the controls would make more sense to be a "just dash" and "dash plus damage" rather than separating dash and damage to two different buttons.

I like the idea of her ult being more intentional with dashes for position then using right click. You reduce dashes dmg, so you can keep the same animation and cut down the lockout after a dash into the right click. This would also allow more counterplay against the dashes since I feel they offer too much dmg for the mobility they provide. Maybe she could get a few charges and a dash uses 1 charge and right click uses 2, but that might be too complex for the fast paced ult

Also i'd like not to get stuck in small edges while using dash and hop over it like Juno does with Glide Boost.

The difference between TF2 and OW's hero design is that each merc in TF2 has an astronomical potential for skill expression, while OW on the other hand wants to make the difference between a beginner and a seasoned player non-existent entirely through 1-dimensional hero design (i.e. Roadhog and Widow).
