Kriti – Karunaideivame
Ragam– Sindhubhairavi
Talam – Adi
Composer – Madurai Srinivasan

An evocative appeal to the Divine, Karunaideivame expresses a heartfelt longing for compassion and grace. The raga Sindhubhairavi, with its expressive melodic shades and deeply moving character, lends itself beautifully to compositions that convey devotion and emotional depth.

In this presentation, Hamsaanandini, student of Shanmukhapriya Academy of Music, brings this composition to life through her vocal rendition, sharing the devotional essence of the song with listeners.

At Shanmukhapriya Academy of Music, our journey of nurturing Carnatic music has continued for nearly three decades. Through our Vocal and Veena programmes, offered both online and offline, we strive to pass on the richness of this tradition to learners across the world.
