Camping, bushcrafting, fishing and other outdoor activities have been a great bonding experience for me and my wife and daughter. I cherish the days we can go into the wilderness together.  ❤👍

I don't mind the camera angles.  My biggest problem was I fell in the water six times just watching this from my couch.

You did really good with nothing touching the ground until you threw the rope on the ground lol. I love your ideas and the fact that you and nick are so entertaining. Nick always giving you crap and you not getting upset with him or whatever thing may be giving you a problem. I can tell right now this shelter will not work for me with all the troubles it’s giving you just because of the fact that I only have use of one arm and hand due to a farming accident 13 years ago. It is amazing how well a person can figure out how to do things one handed.  Like starting a fire with a ferro rod  deploying a ridge line  tying knots and all sorts of things   I have often thought that I should start a channel of my own showing how I have adapted ideas of others or have came up with my own ways of doing bushcraft and just everyday ways of doing things one handed.  If you have ideas of how a person might do  some things to help others like me please share.  I would much appreciate it and I’m sure others would as well.  Thanks Dave and Nick.  Keep up the good work.  I can’t wait for you next video.   From way up here in the north west corner  Antrim county  Michigan  lower peninsula 35 miles north of traverse city a mile inland from Lake Michigan   God bless you both

It always makes my day when I see that you posted a new video. I make sure that I watch it ASAP and have never been disappointed. I love your inventive mind and manufacturing skills. Entertaining and informative at the same time. Ratchet straps sound like a good idea with/without the daisy chain straps. Also good to see Nick back out with you.

You guys Crack me up. Your crazy ideas are always fun to watch. And inspiring.

I always enjoy the videos where you have created a new, elaborate piece of gear, or set up. I have gotten a few good ideas from you over the years. that being said, I got a real chuckle out of you talking about how big that tree is. I live about 300 miles north of San Francisco , very near the redwoods forest. I used to live down in the forest. it is not uncommon to see trees with a 15'+ diameter, so nearly 50 feet in circumference. tell Nick your kinda rambling videos with genuine banter and odd camera angles are not costing viewers, they are part of why we are here . Watching this does remind me of the years I was in the ARMY, I spent some time on Ft Benning with a lot of time in the woods. some of the hardest, but best time out of the 10 years I was in.

I enjoy your videos more than I can express. Please keep them coming.
