Dice is (one of) the first songs to actually get me interested in kpop and was my fav kpop song for like a year after that

i got a boy was my first k-pop song i listened to so........lmaoooo

@Luce-sc6ny 8 days ago

obviously it largely depends on the musical background of the non kpoppie 😅
i heard non-kpop metalheads like guerilla
and tbh me loving the breaking-into-metal-warehouse-and-just-hitting-stuff typa noise kpop (i LOVED mad dog on my first listen and this video actually reminded me i want to go back to my noisy nct phase) while also being really into industrial/cybergothy music makes so much sense

i really went from my metal upbringing to noisy kpop to noisy goths lol

the way 90% of these are in my playlist and the rest would definitely be going there

"car crash" is the best way i've seen skinz described; weirdly and perhaps morbidly captivating

Tortoise and the Hare by skz definitely should be here as well !! Even though it's a very experimental song, I absolutely LOVE it !!

@dulce_mdc07 2 weeks ago

you should've put "rica rica", it could've been the unholy trinity of nature alongside "oopsie my bad" and "limbo" 😿😿

More depends on genre of music 'newcomer' prefer rather than really 'bad choice'
unless its nmixx O.O which is hard to suggest even for non-beginners as a first try of nmixx

like most the songs from 2nd and 3rd made me a fan T.T I was shock seeing Got7, 4Minute, CLC, Shinee....like they are 5 stars to show it

Im honestly someone who quite enjoys noise music but after this video I had a headache

I grew up in England in the 80s, most of these songs are tame compared to Mr Blobby and Ernie- the fastest milkman in the west that I was subjected to.

i should mention that is mostly true for newbies who's only listened music so far was the trendy radio songs

if you're into anything like jpop, vocaloid, nightcore, literally anything alternative this is actually a good starting point
weird kpop was what kept me coming back as a previous vocaloid enthusiast

wait wtf girlkind mentioned in the year of our lord 2026?? then ooo skinz? a.c.e savage??? what in the nugu?? yeah, youre so right, truly a great list that newbies would be hard pressed to listen through

My friend loved sticker on the first listen. She also loved wolf on the first listen. Needless to say, she is now a big kpop fan.

I don’t know what it says about me that so many of these songs are my favorites.
Love the way you described tank.
And love the ace mention.

Scared by P1Harmony shocked me the first time i listened, for how agressive the listen was for what it was speaking on, but i dug in to become one of my favorites
