I enjoyed the Mindf**k series.... however the only thing that made it cringy (for me!) was when they mentioned the Lana learned all types of martial arts in 4 years. They specifically mentioned she had a 3rd or 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo. I regularly attend my little niece/nephew's Taekwondo classes and it takes an average of 4-5 years to get to the first black belt 😭 I wish the author would have done more research when it came to the martial arts 😭 i couldn't stop thinking about that throughout the book

Girl, you are the reason I survived sophomore year, and you'll probably be the reason I get this diploma

I love how thoughtful your reviews are. You always make me see books from a new perspective 💅📚

Sometimes amazon sends returned books, return it and get another resent that's new

I highly recommend reading my sister the serial killer

How do you find time to read with your constant posting girl ?!?! Superwoman ❤😂

5:59 ohh hell nooo

Your comment about not buying books on Amazon cracked me up because when I was in college that's all you could buy from Amazon lol! But I agree. I recently bought some books and almost all of them came to me with broken spines (supposed to be brand new) or vinyl peeling along the edges.

Just finished Project Hail Mary, onto No Matter What!!

I wish I could read the mindf*ck series all over again! I avoided it for so long because I hated the covers but ended up loving every book. RIP S.T. Abby 🤍

Love your reading wrap ups so much 😍💜 I loved the mindf*k series so much. 24:38 this sounds so sweet 🥹

If possible could read us a book like a large summary from start to finish?? Love you videos ❤❤❤

Loveeeee theseee!!!

Can you please do another true crime episode they’re so good. You have the best whisper 😊

Ooh, I just finished the Mindf*ck
series last week after realizing all the books were free on Kindle Unlimited, and girl… when I tell you I flew through them! 😂

I agree with your overall impression too. For me, the first couple of books were just alright, with the romance definitely leaning into insta-love. Even so, I was intrigued by the mystery surrounding Lana’s vigilante persona, so I kept reading.

By the time I got to Hadley’s book (Book 3, I think?), I was completely invested. I loved how the stakes were raised and, like you said, how so much more of Lana’s backstory was revealed. As a whole, I think the series did an excellent job balancing a crime thriller with dark humor and romance.

If you’re looking for something with a similar vibe, I’d recommend the I Kill Killers series by S.T. Ashman. I actually read those last summer, and reviewers kept mentioning how similar they were to the Mindf*ck series. Now that I’ve read both, I can definitely see why.

How do I get myself out of a reading slump I'm in so deep 😭😭😭

no bc i could never read a 700 page book, idk how u made it through that without dnfing it
