Thanks @arab for the video inspiration. The only records I could find is the Sri Lankan gem merchant gifting Queen Elizabeth II the blue sapphire, which then became Dianna’s ring. Fascinating story, the locals tell it differently to Google.

Haseen is so sick man. Really cool for him to bring you around like that for the vid

Aaah yesss. This is what we need brother. Not always showing beaches of Sri Lanka. Nice vid brother ❤

Liam is so goated man, does things completely different to any other travel vlogger.

Hollywood producers are watching this and coming up with a heist movie idea….

Liam ,you are leaving the best videos for the later ones!! Beruwala has been the biggest (if not the biggest, the best) gem market on earth for more than 1000 years. It had a Chinese port. The city was occupied by Somali too. It is a very strong community and any bad behaviour is known by all within minutes.
I love the river mining too as it looked like where I mined in 1973 in Pelmedulla

Just hyped, your adventures are mind blowing 😂❤

I've been there to go sapphire mining, it's an incredible place. Pit bosses, mining overlords, poverty, riches, bribery, theft, this place has it all. Amazing video mate

Man!!!  Liam .. you deserve millions of subscribers .. the content you share is amazing stuff.  Keep up the great work .. but please be safe!  HASEEN~!!!

I love how you dignify other people’s culture, Liam. Sweeeet!!!

Now I know where my moms ring design was from.

man you get off the beaten path that's for sure.  I think you were at 60k subs when I first saw your vids great to see you approaching 200k - commenting to boost the algorythm

10:14 As far as I know they are finding anything and everything that is valuable, that means gems and gold both

HASEEN. Setting a pink sapphire just this week for my Moms birthday! An interesting watch as someone who's bought quite a few gems from India and Sri Lanka. Thanks a lot as always!

Liked and hyped!  I love to support your channel as best I can 🙂

Someone needs to gift those guys some solar camping lights

Really enjoyed this! I studied gemmology (or gemology in some countries) decades ago. Fascinating subject.

You touched a raw nerve with the mention of Diana mate. I'm old enough to remember two young boys walking behind the coffin of their mother, having to pretend this is normal with the typical British stiff upper lip. Personally I don't buy all the conspiracy theories floating around back then. However, I do know the parasitic paparazzi made her life hell during her relationship with Dodi Fayed. And as it turned out how convenient that Charles could now focus on his first love that he eventually married. When i see the media turning on Diana's children I see red. Fascinating story from Sri Lanka Liam. You're doing an awesome job with these videos.

Chuck up up in Ohio.  This video is a Gem . Im going to have kelly watch this video soon as she's up and awake.  She just loves Ruby's and gems. The people you met were very friendly. I wish that would rub off to the people in the US.  Unbelievable amount of gems just blows my mind. What id do for a hand full of those . Good to see you . Can't wait to get to China.  Chuck up in Ohio.

They Mentioned you on Joe Rogan’s latest episode with Tyler Engle. Right around the 2:25 hour time mark. Glad to see your work is getting the recognition it deserves. Cheers brother ⚡️
