Sardinia with a camper van in the wild – a spot right by the beach, a great crew, and a barbecue that ended with a €130 fine! We show you how a quiet evening by the sea turned into an encounter with the police and why we'll remember this stop for a long time.
We're looking for another spot for the final days of our Sardinia trip. Together with Artur and Izabelka, we check out the beach area, decide where to park the camper vans, and wonder if we'll be able to leave after the rain. The view is fantastic, but memories of the previous downpour remind us that this beautiful spot can also cause problems.
Along the way, a technical mystery arises: why do the batteries in my friend's camper van only charge while driving after the lights are turned on? We ask you about the possible cause, and then we return to what we love most – spending an evening together by the sea.
We set up the chairs, prepare the barbecue, and start a Polish dinner party. We even discuss camping fines, convinced that no one will visit us here in the off-season. Moments later, the police arrive. We have to pack up the entire campsite, and things get heated.
The next day, we explain how the intervention ended and how the final amount of 130 euros came about. There's also an unexpected meeting with Stefano, who recognizes Tomas and Adriana. We weren't expecting this turn of events at all!
We spend the rest of our stay at the beach with friends. Another Polish group joins us, there's chatting, strong winds, and the last moments of sunshine before returning. We also show the spot from a drone, and then we hop on a Vespa and go shopping.
