Whoever  you   are,   reading  this,  I  wish you   peace  and  love .❤❤

I would play this music whenever I stayed up all night to prepare for an exam. And my sweet mother would stay up with me in case I needed a cup of tea or anything. She would not go to sleep. I am crying now. I miss her and it is so painful. I am now an 82 year old man.

I grew up with this music in Alexandria Egypt

Currently teaching my students about early Islamic states and the Umayyad Caliphate while playing this! Love it!

touch,  the very depths of one’s heart

Sinto em paz ouvido essas músicas

Arabs have very little knowledge of how bless they are being from the East, the ancient East being the best part. I herded sheep in the hills of Crete, Greece and it took me way back in thought to Mesopotamia where great cities sprung up with the sound of children playing in the streets and the aromatic smells of the market place gave soothing peace and a place of home to every person. The sound of sheep and donkeys and camels bleating along the roads during the day and the smell of cooking in the evening hours. Yes, many of these Eastern cities fell away into history, but happy were its citizens when they existed. So today, the Western modern world will one day be reclaimed by nature or disappear completely, yet the beautiful faces of the ancient as well as modern faces will be remembered, all but their ugly actions. All praise to God! I am from the West, but love much the Eternal East. Samuel
