The Niyodo River, which has been experiencing persistent flooding since the typhoon at the beginning of June, finally reached a level and level of turbidity that made it possible to fish in the main stream. Though it might be reckless, I decided to give it a try.

At the first spot, perhaps due to poor algae growth, there wasn't much reaction from the ayu (sweetfish), so I moved.

At the second spot, I started with a bite right away, and although I had several missed hookups, after switching to a double butterfly hook, I started catching fish one after another, enjoying a series of satisfying hits.

Please enjoy watching the video of this day's fishing trip.
