I don't care what anyone else says but Hamilton is the greatest F1 Driver, ever. I've been alive long enough and had the privilege of watching Senna et-al and whilst they were magnificent drivers, they were different era's. So it would be unfair, but if you sit back and look at the rule changes and regulations that Hamilton has followed through over the years, there really isn't an argument. He's been through more than a few 'eras' on his own. Yeh, he will retire one day and hopefully not soon, but he goes to show longevity is possible even with the 'PlayStation' generations that have the luxury of 'playing' simulators that are not much different to the actual racing. Verstappen is my favourite character on the grid and he has absolute pace, but for all the accolades and time on track Lewis Hamilton should be regarded as the greatest F1 driver ever. Just IMHO 👍.

Those of us old enough to know that this is not the first time Ferrari has gone through a down period, where they just can't get it right. It's hard to watch Lewis having to struggle with a team/car that just isn't in sync. I've been a fan of his long before he got to F1 and thus seeing him do well in this quali is hopefully a reason to believe in the team again. Go get'em Lewis.

Great Video Mazz ... We have to remember Lewis & Fred have known each other a long time, longer than Toto. Lewis said he always dreamed of racing in red, I feel Fred influenced that dream to happen, if you are Lewis would you back the man that has had your back for a long time , of course you would. so I now feel that if Ferrari change Principle in Lewis's reign, he might leave and Ferrari would deserve that, they have not been this close in a while. That feeling has just got stronger, watching this. Thanks Mazz...

I think it was a brilliant lap in a car that, for once, was properly set up technically. I suspect that, for once, Ferrari allowed Hamilton to lead the way on how the car was dialled in and didn't mess with it. I suspect Ferrari thought he would hang himself and not embarrass them. I think that Ferrari may just have had a championship challenging car. That 2026 was a lost opportunity and that if Ferrari had allowed Hamilton to dial the car in from the beginning of the season they would be further along a positive development curve and qualifying might have been about challenging for pole and not 2 tenths behind. I realise that Hamilton is not fond of Horner and he has said and done things at Red Bull which crossed a line with Hamilton but perhaps Horner's Machiavellian style and focused intensity on winning might be the thing that takes Hamilton to his eighth official world title if they could come to terms and work together in Ferrari.
