Day 6 in Oahu ended up being our FAVORITE day of our entire vacation! 🌺

We started the day meeting some of my extended family in person for the very first time. They spent their Saturday with us and gave us an incredible day on Kaneohe Bay. They got up early to prepare the boat, opened their home to all five of us, treated us to an amazing Hawaiian lunch feast, and spent hours making the day incredibly special for our family.

I'm keeping our extended family and their homes off camera for privacy, but they were a huge part of why this became our favorite day of the trip. ❤️

Because of the recent heavy rains, the water near shore was still dark brown, but our cousins took us way out into the bay until we found beautiful, crystal-clear water. The kids fished, swam, played in the water, and had an absolute blast.

After saying goodbye to our cousins, we headed to Kualoa Ranch for the UTV Raptor Tour. For our family of five, self-drive was the only UTV option, and we were excited to explore the ranch, see the incredible scenery, and check out some of the famous filming locations.

We had a lot of fun driving through Kualoa Ranch, but there was less narration than we expected. There was no narration while we were driving, and there were only a few stops where a guide talked about the specific location. We stayed at those stops for a LONG time, so after taking plenty of pictures and hanging out, we eventually started entertaining ourselves with games—and then taking even more pictures just to pass the time! 😂

If you're someone who really enjoys learning about the history of the places you visit, we'd probably choose one of Kualoa Ranch's more guided tours if we went back. We personally would have preferred more frequent stops with more information about the history and the areas we were seeing.

That said, the scenery was absolutely incredible, and we had a lot of fun experiencing the ranch this way. And definitely be prepared to get DIRTY! 😂

After such a full day, Phinn could barely keep his eyes open. We ended the day with one of Parker's Hawaii favorites—Spam musubi from Musubi Cafe—while we waited for our table at the Yard House for dinner.

Family, Kaneohe Bay, Kualoa Ranch...we all agree this was our favorite day in Hawaii. ❤️
