there are two unspoken rules with Iono:
1) all female vtubers will have some kind of rivalry with her
2) the chats of said vtubers are to cheer on Iono.

Iono: exists
Literally any female Vtuber: "And I took that personally"

"Iono got her 3D debut before me..."

This made me hollar!

I like how every Vtuber from Hololive,Nijisanji and other indie Vtubers are at war with this 1 Pokemon Vtuber lmao.

i can't believe Iono collabed with these unknown vtuber she is such a great streamer helping her fellow streamers get out there

Iono: says things Vtuber streamers would say

Vtubers: get verbally upset and jealous

Iono: “Why are you bullying me, I’m right”

"Iono got her 3D debut before I did..."

Oof.  I felt that.

I wish you also clipped that "time to make her graduate" from IRyS.

Imagine Vtubers battling each other with Pokemon's and taking the loser's superchats.

Hearing people trying to pronounce Iono on the spot makes me realize that her name is "ion-O" and could probably be pronounced more like "iunno", as in "I dunno(don't know)", which is why her catch phrase is "Whosawhatsit, Iono!" like "Who is it? What is it? I don't know!" And then her electrical theming is because "ions" are atoms/molecules that have a non neutral electron charge and how Oxygen (O) ions are highly reactive and diffuse "positively", like a good streamer's positive attitude.
Honestly one of the better performances by the naturalization and translation team.

It still makes me laugh that Kronii was the only one to catch Iono's greeting pun

"You KNOW she's menhera as hell behind the scenes..."  A Phase-Connect girl would know one when she sees one.

Love that all of them gave Iono a super peppy cutesy voice despite them not doing one normally.

I can see Baelz being Iono's English actor

It'd be very meta

The duality of the pokemon fandom about Iono can be represented with the reaction of the girls and the reactions of joey and alpharad

"I wanna slap this girl's face." - Irys

Iono is just honest, she says what other streamers think

How hilarious would it be if Electro King turned out to be Lt Surge (Vermilion City Gym Leader from Kanto).

I think Suisei and Aqua are the only ones who didn't get salty over Iono.  The former just took the opportunity to plug Shout In Crisis, as expected of the VTuber who never fails to advertise herself.

Iono's got to be the best idea Gamefreak had in recent years. The fact that they managed to get her so goddamn accurate is honestly a miracle.
