Correction, and it's on me: Jaime threw Bran out the window, not Baelish. That line should have been about the catspaw dagger lie, not the fall. Rest of the chain of custody still stands, but I got that one wrong and you were right to call it.

Baelish had nothing to do with Bran going out the window or his attempted murder by Joffrey. He fomented a war between the Lannisters and Starks by accusing Tyrion of being the dagger's owner. Then betraying Ned when he wanted to crown Stannis instead of Renly, who Baelish had already lined up a coup for.

I always interpreted his waiting as him giving his sisters a chance to continue their growth.  They had to figure out, for themselves, that they were still sisters and could still trust each other, as family.  If he had told them, before the trial, then that love would NOT have been properly proved between them.

And WITH that love proved between them, they were able to move forward as a united team, when facing the real end-game of it all.

Bran was bigger than that.  He understood personal growth and the responsibility to allow people the time to achieve it.

Bran did not need to use his Greenseer ability to "read" Jaime to get "The things we do for love," since Bran was literally in Jaime's grasp when Jaime said it.  But it would not be improbable that he did use that ability for that memory since he did suffer a loss of the memory of the injury.  In fact, it makes sense that he would have greenseered back to recover his memory of the event out of basic curiosity.

"Who passes the judgment, swings the blade." Ned Stark. His daughters disobeyed.

Bran might not have known everything about Baelish until the trial or the day of the trial as he might have been thinking about other peoples’ histories.

And—carried through a war zone? The war had been done for at least several weeks or a couple of months by the time of the choosing

The story of the iron throne has always been a power battle between Bran and the Night King. Bran gave his pawns more freedom to move across the board but he still exerted a certain degree of control.

Sometimes timing can make a bigger impression especially when people are skeptical about you being a seer. Bran needed to wait until everyone could hear what he had to say to little finger. Bran needed to surprise little finger in front of everyone. Bran told Sam about Jon because he knew that Sam could produce the proof to back up what he said about Jon Snow. Bran knew that he had to prove his power. Bran needed little finger dead because little finger was always going to be a threat especially to the starks. It was essential for little finger to die. Bran knew that Jon would kill Daenerys and that would leave him as the best choice to run the kingdom and that’s why he knew that he had to take on that role whether he wanted to or not.

Finally someone got it right and put it in a video!

Sansa felt she owed Peter kindness for aiding Jon. I'm sure Bran knew that. Sansa, being the Lady of Winterfell had to take charge. When Arya, Bran and Sansa met regarding Peter, I believe that's when it all comes together. Bran never really goes into the past with anyone. He can't help but see it and the present always. Bran knew Arya could use the knife as a killer. For the record... I hated Bran's line "what do you think I came here for". It bugged me

Maybe with the knowledge of all time in your head that particular moment wasnt on his minds eye. He was thinkin of the war the knight king all that

A little late in the game here but just now seeing this and had a thought. IF and that is a big 'if' Bran is supposedly Godlike in that he can see the past, present and future events - making him all knowing, then perhaps your assessment of his "timing" has more to do with him knowing other outcomes that needed to happen for him to wait. I agree that Bran is actually more evil (imho) than he's being portrayed in the tv adaptation and perhaps he was as some have said is just a tool for the Children of the forest to actually get their power back ie the Old Gods win. I mean in reality this was a spiritual battle underneath all the earthly bodies.

Bran was the scariest monster in game of thrones, I will never forgive him for what he did to Hodor.

Honestly I think Bran is sometimes lost in the stories he's trying to follow that he's just not "there" for them all the time. He's too busy trying to find the answers. Agreed it might have been for his goal as well.

I felt this all through last season

I said at end "Bran the brutal" yet no one else believed he planned it all....I'm sure he did

I think the Bloodraven warged into Brandon out of desperation. He had exclaimed that Brandon wasn't ready. Didn't know enough yet.

What did chatgpt not understand about Litlefinger not being Jaime ?

Baelish never asked for a trial by combat

When Bran hands the dagger to Arya, he reads it first. Watch him.

So the three eyed raven is like the deep state in Game of Thrones? 🤔
