I just wanted to clarify that at 7:43, it may come off that I’m saying I have fine density, but I’m saying that my density is fine as in, it’s ok. Fine as in I have a good amount of density. So please know that I’m not saying that I have fine hair lol because I know I don’t, not trying to confuse anyone

I am a former locs hater who wore fake hair for about 35 yrs, now I absolutely love locs and is 6 months into my micro locs journey, who refuse to get on board with locs with extensions.🤔 Go figure? You were definitely one of who inspired me to loc my hair.❤

I’ve got no grid, Diy’d it. And my locks are finally starting to look like I want. I’ve got a little damage to grow out but we are well on our way. I remember when I started last year September, going through the baby-bird trenches. Keke kept me sane.

I never used to like braiding or conrowing my hair because I hated to see my scalp, but now that I have micro locs, nothing is more satisfying than when I get my retie and I have a CRISPY grid. Love me a crispy grid now. 😂

This is so timely! I got my my first set of microlocs installed three weeks ago by a loctician, didn’t like their size and I took them out them a couple of days ago. I found a new loctician, and I sent Keke J’s microlocs as my inspo. Oouuu and she did this second set of microlocs right, they’re now smaller, and I’m so excited for the journey. I love them ❤

I LOVE when you do these! Just installed my daughter’s micro locs in June and mine a few weeks ago ☺️🤎

I’ve had my sister locs for six years now. The I love having locs. I feel like my locs brought me into my afro look.

I’m not loc’d but I’m natural. Don’t care about a density or having long hair in a few hours. I love seeing the process of beautiful ladies growing their OWN NATURAL HAIR. Why everything has to become an obsession.

I made my 3-year loc anniversary three months ago, starting with 3 inches. I started my locs journey on my own. It took me one week to complete. I have about 210 locs which I also started with a layered cut and not the same grid pattern everyone is going crazy about. My locs are thick, healthy, and I mostly have a 4 b texture. My locs are definitely unique in the sense that they're frizzy, curly, and now range from 10 to16 inches.

Hi Keke🎉I've been here since your loose natural days. I just love when you celebrate other women.

I like your videos. I usually watch many of them as I get into the mode of retightening my MicroLocs. 🎉

Your loc bob is fire 🔥

I really, really love locs. Have always loved them, even as a kid. In a country where people with locs are looked at negatively, I absolutely loved them. I loved the freedom they had. I love locs so much I put them in my daughter's hair at 7. The reason I am so hesitant to put them in mine is that I never felt like I had a chance to enjoy my loose hair. Life always hits me hard, and I end up having to shut my hair away or cut it off. Ive been natural for over 15 years and the longest my hair has been is bra-strap. But i want to be able to enjoy my hair in a loose state before i eventually loc it.

I interlock my traditional locs! They’re on the smaller side but nowhere near being microlocs as I only have about 80 locs on my head. Just letting you know in case you ever go the traditional route and are worried about maintenance 😊

Been waitingg on this one😫

I've been watching off and on since like 2019 so I remember Lionel as a loose girly☺️ I was a natural hair girl down! I'm currently combing out my diy 4 month old braid Microlocs to get them professionally reinstalled by interlocking. I wanted more symmetry and consistency across sizing. Also them reties were kicking my behind in draining my energy so I'm def just eating the cost of having someone else maintain them 😂 def excited to see what my brand of Microlocs will look like in the coming years
