The Phillies drafting Bo Bichette in the redraft is hilarious actually

Ian Anderson is a genuinely sad story. He started so incredibly well in 2020 and 2021, including that incredible World Series game, but injuries and lack of a solid 3rd pitch have derailed his career. Hope he can bounce back

as a braves fan, ian anderson was 100% worth it just because of the 2021 postseason he put on

"2016 was 10 years ago"
Why did you wake up and choose violence?

I can guarantee you the angels do not regret making that Brandon marsh trade

ive seen other videos grading the 2010s drafts that are also very good but what sets this apart from those is the redraft, great vid!

Ian anderson was worth the pick solely on his performances in the 2020 and 2021 postseasons

Michael King's switch from swingman to dominant starter didn't happen after he was traded to the Padres - it happened in his last year with the Yankees. That's why they were able to get Juan Soto.

Kirilloff's nagging wrist injury problems were what derailed his career.  The fact that his only decent and healthy half season was immediately followed by a torn labrum cemented his fate.  The Twins don't seem to be able to bring in young players who are both talented and able to stay on the field.

forrest whitley is pitching in japan next season

leaving out that the braves traded william contreras to get murphy has to be bait

Smith and Burnes behind Bichette is bizarre.

11:45 I still laugh every time I see this and yell “THERE WERE TWO OUTS!!!!”

This video shows why trying to duplicate Houston’s tanking strategy is so difficult. They hit on Springer, Correa, Bregman, and (briefly) McCullers. That’s an absolutely insane hit rate on drafts spanning 5 years. Even with that, in the middle of it, they totally whiffed on Mark Appel and Brady Aiken.

It’s not a strategy that’s likely to duplicate. It was a totally unreal run of luck for the Astros. No team has ever had a run of draft success like that before or since

I never was crazy about the Moniak pick, but after a little while, it was pretty clear just how bad this draft was. Well, those two months of Thor were kinda neat I suppose.

I knew Ian Anderson personally because we were at the same high school at Shen. Such a sad story after he got selected by Atlanta

This hasn’t aged well in the sense that as a Mets fan I’d so rather have Pete Alonso back than keep Bo Bichette

There can’t be many drafts in history where every team ended up picking a bust in the first round. Phillies haven’t had good draft evaluators since they drafted Cole Hamels 20 years ago.

I had just gotten over Will Benson costing me my royals bet on Tuesday and you brought up all those bad memories randomly. thanks

2016 was the year i got back into baseball after a few 5 years of being off the loop and focusing more on my music and movies
