It was here that I got the chance to visit a vintage collection shop, where we had gone to buy a post box. Yes, a post box! There were different types of post boxes available here, almost shaped like the ones from the old times. The shop also had antique swing clocks, telescopes, old radios, lanterns, lights, globes, brass auto rickshaw figurines, old telephones, bells, gramophones, records and many other rare items available at very reasonable prices.

We had actually gone there to buy a post box, but ended up discovering a beautiful collection of India’s forgotten vintage items. All this, available at very reasonable prices in the narrow, busy lanes of Lal Kuan, Old Delhi.
