Arianna and Maple are heading to the big city for the absolute insanity that is Gremlins 2: The New Batch. If you thought the first movie was a wild ride, you aren't prepared for what happens when Gizmo and the gang take over a high-tech skyscraper in New York City. This isn't just a sequel; it’s a full-on meta-satire that breaks every rule in the book—including the fourth wall!
When Billy and Kate find Gizmo inside the Clamp Center, it’s only a matter of time before the "no water" rule is broken, unleashing a new generation of Gremlins that are weirder, smarter, and more mutated than ever. Arianna and Maple are losing it over the "Brain Gremlin," the "Bat Gremlin," and the legendary sequence where the movie literally "breaks" in the middle of the theater. From the parody of Donald Trump-esque billionaires to the incredible practical effects by Rick Baker, this movie is a fever dream of 90s creativity.
Whether it's the "New York, New York" musical number or the sheer chaos of a building wired for destruction, Gremlins 2 is a masterpiece of the "sequel gone rogue" genre. Join Arianna and Maple as they react to the most chaotic "Batch" yet!
