Today, we are exploring the freakiest abandoned love hotel I have ever seen, frozen in time since it closed suddenly in 2013. Inside, everything was left behind, and almost all of the rooms were completely customized to different themes. We found spaceship rooms, Rolls-Royce rooms, boxing rooms, and many more, some very unsettling, and honestly, strange. During the economic boom in the 1980s and ‘90s, thousands of these hotels opened across the country, each trying to outdo the others with more creative and extravagant rooms. These were the places for couples to spend time together, giving them the option to rent the rooms for the night, or even just a few hours. However, they also became places where relationships happened in secret. Affairs, mistresses, and double lives were a very common part of their reputation. Guests could check in anonymously, pay in cash, and sometimes, without ever speaking to staff. Many also include hidden entrances and individual parking garages. However, as newer love hotels kept being built, they slowly made the older and dirtier ones obsolete, and by the early 2010s, places like this one were already struggling.
