In the rain-soaked forest, I spent a peaceful night with OkHee inside a cozy cabin truck. Savory scones and cookies baked in a small oven, a warm cup of tea, and a book read against the backdrop of the rain outside the window soothed my weary heart.
After enjoying a healthy dinner filled with fresh vegetables, I woke up the next morning to the gentle pattering of rain on the truck roof, receiving another dose of healing. We made our way to a field of white buckwheat flowers, signaling the imminent arrival of autumn, to create small memories with OkHee. Sitting in the quiet space, I captured a scene straight out of a novel on canvas.
