This guy played David's life SPOT ON!

I have never  seen  this show  about  David  Cassidy  before. Thanks for  showing.

That actor is fantastic I gotta say. I love David and always will. I saw him in concert in the 90s in Green Bay and am so thankful for it. It was one of the best concerts of my life.❤

He strikes me a gentle soul just doing best he can under impossible circumstances. Terrific singer with comedic timing. David I hope you found peace finally.

Agree with the other comment the ending was great. So David sang with the actor in the movie. Awesome

There was another movie from around that time about The Partridge Family, but it was more from Danny Bonaduce's point of view. And Danny had it just as bad as David did, if not worse, with his father, producer Joe Bonaduce, as Joe was just as jealous and resentful of Danny as Jack Cassidy was of David.

Very impressive that they used original songs. Of Stevie, too. Bet this was way watered down. What a life he had.

wow, his father seemed like more than a handful, and to hit that kind of big success so young is hard to come down from. His friend Nick was a true friend. I loved David Cassidy as a child.
