Nice stuff, usually I am here for the watches (was along before you had 1000 subs), but I also have an interest in cars and motorcycles, anything mechanical. I like your enthusiastic, positive and hands-on approach to stuff. You are probably right, wait till spring with the sale and have fun fixing it up in the winter. Cleaning and polishing does a lot. Get some car paint restore products like wax for the paint. I am sure that you can easily find a touch up paint pen for the chips, Honda should be helpful with the color code. You can also get products (for bumpers and such) that restore faded black plastic parts, and even for the sides of the tires. Some high temperature black paint for the exhaust and shield. Cracks and scratches in the plastic can also be dealt with, there are plenty of ressources and advice out there. Good luck with it, I hope for a good profit.

Great bike. I picked up a 2006 in the summer & just finished restoring it. Definitely a rare find!

HONDA - CHECK OIL WITHOUT SCREWING IN THE DIP STICK. Novus plastic polish #2 on the plastics and then a coat of carnuba wax. WAX the paint and hand buff it. Soapy water for a preliminary wash. Magic eraser leaves a haze. Its 3000 ish grit. I restore motorcycles and quality vintage audio hifi.
