Can’t play in the NBA for that long if you’re not really good or role play within the team. He was a cool player to watch.

He’s probably one of the best “he was better in college” players of all time. Because he had a long career, developed an unrelenting reliability and consistency with his shot making and most importantly, whether he scored or not, opponents HAD to guard him for pretty much his entire career.

one of my all time favourite players. great guy. great player.

Loved what he did at Duke thrived on the hate

His offball movement was incredible. If there's one thing that young players can take from his game (shooting you've got it or you don't), that's it.

In the podcast he said that he didn't want to people see AR as just a small white shooter as he was seen back in the days. I think JJ would have been even better in today's basketball where roles are less stereotyped.

And I think that in time, he will be remembered as a coach more than anything else. I mean look at how he is adapting the team for AR and Luka injuries ! I'm loving what they are doing right now at the start of the post season.

Jj Reddick is the sole reason I’m a duke a fan and one of the main reasons I fell in love with basketball. Jj reddick and d wade are the two guys who made me love basketball more than anything

4:59 JJ was the all-time ACC scoring leader. Hansbrough came after him.

13:00 dude spoke man you gotta love it. Especially for a potential coach. My high school coach used to speak out like that

JJ really got better every year

For someone who would consistently have increased his points per game for years after years despite being a guard who’s too short to be a shooting guard and not good enough vision to be a point guard, his effort and efficiency to make the best with his physicality and mentality is insane.

Was at his all American game. He was mvp. And awesome esp back then.

As a new fan, was thinking wtf is this dude as a face of the lakers but wow. Backstory means everything. Well done with the video. Thank you

As someone who played for 15 years & did some coaching as well, I’ve never liked the media because they don’t talk about basketball. For a few years there JJ & Draymond Green were the only people in “media” who were actually speaking about the game of basketball & not narratives. Huge respect to them both for doing that even though majority of NBA fans don’t actually understand the game very well, people were till very intrigued & tuned into their shows. I think JJ will do well with the Lakers as well. Great video 👍🏼

I am third generation blazer fan.  Hated this guy because he was a menace when we played him.  If he had been a blazer I would have wanted him to retire as a blazer.  Great guy and solid player

Awesome shooting percentage. I think he's going be an awesome coach, and will get the championship

JJ is the man who proved a lot of MF wrong!!!

I feel JJ was a college legend who was underrated in the pros. He was a feared shooter that you had to always be ultra aware of where he was on the court. Was he a 20 ppg guy? No. But he definitely always affected game plans.

Nice video

Crazy that 9 of the top 10 ACC highest scorers come from the state of North Carolina
