Our events are primarily about community, music, visual arts, poetry and the importance of all art forms and their interconnectedness.*

This film is a short recap of our 'Autumn Equinox 2026' event. This was the 13th consecutive event that we celebrated at the Old Stone House [post Covid epidemic]. The previous events were held before the Covid-19 epidemic. This was our 99st event! The music was composed and/or arranged by me and performed on a native flute, the gemshorn, classical flute, cello, and classical guitar. The flute performer was Katrina Curdy and the cello performer was Barbara Aran.

The art workshops feature the use of different art mediums, concepts, and attempt to coordinate with the other art forms as well. This particular event featured the work of Georges Seurat and his pointillistic techniques as inspiration. Also, the more gestural painting of the California artist Mark Tobey was used as inspiration.

*The idea of interconnectedness in art emphasizes the notion that everything is interconnected and interdependent, and that these connections can be represented and expressed through various artistic disciplines.

It allows for a deeper understanding and appreciation of the complexity and interrelatedness of the world around us.
