I'm 30 years old, I was born too late to explore the world and too early to explore space, but I born just in time to watch Shohei Ohtani.

I was never really into baseball and honestly didn’t care much about it before. But then I came across this guy right before World Series Games 6 and 7 and suddenly the game was actually fun to watch. His skills, his humility, and just the vibe he brings made everything more exciting. Ever since then, I’ve been hooked and ngl pretty obsessed. Love you Shohei Ohtani! Go Dodgers! 💙⚾️

I know it’s way too early to think about this, but just imagining Shohei Ohtani retiring from baseball in about ten years already makes me feel sad. When he finally steps away, it will truly feel like the end of an era.

Someday he’ll reach his peak, and eventually we’ll start to see signs of decline. That’s inevitable for any athlete. But what he has done is beyond special.

He’s the kind of person who deserves to be in textbooks. A true role model for kids who dream of playing baseball. He’s given so many people hope and excitement.

Nothing but respect and gratitude. Thank you for letting us dream, Shohei.

Ohtani is a all time great player but even a better person, one of the most humble nicest guy. And Shohei does alot for charities, recently he's former teammate pitcher Gus Varland also the brother of Louis Verland the pitcher of the Blue Jays, had a mother who was diagnosed with cancer, Ohtani made a huge contribution to helping Gus and Louis mother’s cancer treatment, now she's cancer free, Shohei also donated a million dollars for the earthquake relief efforts, and gave over 60,000 gloves to 20,000 elementary schools aiming to give children the chance to play baseball, also donated $500 thousand dollars to help the relief and rescue of the LA fire. And recently opened up the Shohei Ohtani family foundation, a charity mission to create healthier happier communities by funding initiatives that inspire children to stay active and live well, and by supporting programs that rescue, protect, and care for animals in need. Dave Roberts mentioned how Ohtani likes to do a lot of good things and be involved in charity on the low key and doesn’t want to be in the spotlight for it.

I grew up watching my father and brother play catch. My brother reached the national level. I loved baseball, but I never had a glove, never had a chance, and never had a program to join. My school cut baseball at that time. My dream ended before it began.
Today, I watch Shohei Ohtani live the dream I couldn't. And somehow, that’s enough.

“Since 2021, no MLB pitcher has thrown more innings than Shohei Ohtani and had a lower ERA doing it. And during that time he has also hit 233 home runs (more than anyone except Aaron Judge). It's completely ridiculous.”  - Codify

Last year, Roki Sasaki was 23 years old and young, so I thought there was no point in crying about his poor pitching,
but when I saw Ohtani in 2018, right after he arrived in the US, playing confidently in the MLB from the start at the same age,
I realized that he was no ordinary player even back then.

Salute to the editor who had to whittle 3,000 hours of highlights into 1. 😅

As a kid, I used to regret the era when I was born because it seemed like all the greats had come and gone; and I had missed all the heroics, historic numbers and careers…🍻

You really missed out if you didn’t watch the Angels seasons from 2021 to 2023.
From now on, don’t miss it again!
🦄

I am proud to live in an age where I can brag to my son 20 years from now.

You know someone’s goated when people who have never heard of baseball but know the name Shohei

Shohei Ohtani is a living legend in the world of baseball. He has the potential to become a legend more than any other great player in history. And he's not just a great player, he's a person to be admired. He's not interested in money, women, or good alcohol, he's just a boy who loves baseball. He's a great player who donates a lot and hopes to spread the culture of baseball itself.

Ohtani has the best inning to strikeout rate 11.4 since 2018 with pitchers with over 100 starts and fifth best in ERA since that time, last year he had a 2.87 ERA in his 47 innings struckout 62 batters (11.9 best inning to strikeout rate in baseball) and in his last 4 Starts 19 innings struckout 27 batters and gave up just 1 run, that was better then Skens and Skubal in September.

After watching shohei pllay im huge Dodgers fan!!❤🎉

Real Superman

Baseball will be here soon

2018年の本拠地デビューから3試合連続ホームランした後、一日休んで先発投手で投げて7回1安打12奪三振無失点❗️これだけでもとんでもない記録なのだけど、これが伝説の序章にすぎないのがヤバすぎる‼️

Majic Johnson, who I considered a god when I was in high school, was a gape with his mouth wide open in excitement at Shohei Otani's play....who would believe something like this happen?!  Shohei has truly become one and only a god!!

just amazing and exciting to watch as always, ohtani never disappoints
