size of the tower and the antenna's I
wanted to put on it but something is much
better than nothing at all.

Fantastic Nigel and Hazel. What a brilliant concept and construction. That video is dated 2013 so I hope you have your antenna mounted and producing some great results for your log book. 73, Jamie VK2YCJ

I only wish I had a workshop like yours ... if only ... great build quality every thing well engineered ... solid engineering ... nothing flimsy the way it should be ... well done.

WOW! An engineering marvel! As I was watching your video, my wife even glanced over at my screen and commented on how simple and elegant your system is. Brilliant, sir. Well done!

Hi Nigel :) Fantastic Video . A few questions. what size box did you use where did you get the bushes and bits . I might have a go making one if you don't mind. I can only get 10 mm plate steel 2foot square I can brace the box all the way down and have a box sleeve into the concrete about 3 foot so its just a bit more security as the plate steel im using is only 10mm thick. can get 100 mm box and 90 and 80 & 70 in 7m lengths. so 2 of them will give me about 12 meters if I need help is it ok if I ask

well done im looking for a tower as low cost as possible could you send me a diagram of this kind regards gordon
Hi Mark sorry your having problems I do hope you get sorted soon.
I used about 1 and 1/2 ton of ballast mix and about 5 or 6 bags of cement I think
mixed at 3 to 1 I also drove 2 9 foot long earth spikes in the ground diagonal from the mast
this was earthed to the 500mm anchor bolts for the tower. Hope this helps.
cheers Nigel
