I remember watching this live on ITV. Recorded it on VHS tape. I feel old. 😂😂

Loved Mark Robbins. United should have invested more time on him, he had so much potential...

I feel really old...was 12, great new years day

❤❤

Watching this as a 12 year old neutral, this match was a belated Christmas treat.   It was a ‘curtain raiser’ for 1989.  A year that was to prove a difficult, in Liverpool’s case a traumatic, year, for both clubs.

Just started watching football around this time.

United 3 Liverpool 1. Was there. 🙂

RIP Graham and Brian

One time couldnt win here  how they  win here most times   but Ferguson  stuck up for the Liverpool  fans after Hillsborough  great  man sir alex Ferguson  best manager  since sir matt from a Liverpool  fan

Wonderful new years day ....❤

Proper football

The madness of fixture planning back in the day, lost to Boro the very next day
