The molag bal quest is morally easier when you remember the priest you beat to death is a priest of boetheia, another vile daedric prince, so no love lost there
I like the quest "Unearthed". To start the quest you travel to the island of Solstheim and head SE from Raven Rock. You'll find Ralis Sedarys attempting to excavate Kolbjorn Barrow. I like the fact that the ruins don't just "magically" open when you start the quest. It takes time and investment to completely excavate the barrow. The reward is unique, worthwhile and valuable. :)
Actually in the blood on the ice quest after you send the court mage to jail you can talk to him after he behind bar and it will give you a chance to catch the real killer because talking with the court mage will let you know what the necklace really is and that will let you know who really did it
6:26 Sheogorath is the player character from Oblivion. We know because the final dlc for oblivion ended with the player character taking Jyggalags place to become sheogorath.
I was not surprised but kind of disappointed that "The Aetherium Wars" quest line wasn't on here. To me that's a top tier quest line aswell. You can start the quest in multiple ways, the rewards are top tier to "I could use this", plus the lore dumps were amazing.
Minor point: you get auriel’s bow if you side with the vampires too. The main advantage of siding with the Dawnguard is the gears, the weapons, and those sweet, sweet offensive restoration spells that I spend way too much time planning how to get as a vampire😅 The main advantage of the vampires is the vampire lord form and honestly the jewelry from the quests (specifically the rings). And I guess turning your spouse into a vampire (if they’re eligible) is pretty cool😂
9:13 i think the game does actually explain why.. the innocents were from Astid, ther more nobel killings is when the Nightmother assumes more sembelence of control, makling Cicero the most devote follower of the real purpose of the dark brotherhood.
When discussing mods for "House of Horrors", my mind turns towards "Serana Dialogue Add-on", which actively has Serana, if she's your companion during this Daedric Quest, tell you exactly her opinions on Molag (and his treatment of her), imploring you to not follow through with his demands. You can agree (which closes the quest), or you can continue (which Serana decides to leave and not be a part of Molag's orders, and strains any relationship building between you and her).
You can actually have both the sun spells, rune weapons and the vampire lord perk. Just take the vanpire lord perk from Serana before entering the soul cairn in the dawnguard DLC.
Just a small critique, but you mentioned the Blindsighted quest line for the Thieves Guild at 18:14 but then didn’t actually talk about that quest line but instead discussed the dichotomy of the vampires versus dawnguard choice… bit confused by your script
Oddly enough by killing Alduin you ultimately end up dooming the world. Alduin was designed to be the world eater but somewhere along the line he decided "Nah, imma do my own thing" and sought world domination, by killing Alduin you sent him back to his creator (notice how you don't absorb his soul after beating Alduin) where he'll be factory reset as the world eater and return to fulfill his intended purpose.
3:29 am i the only one who had the butcher spawn in the house when i went to go look for clues? Out of the 5 or 6 times i did that quest, that happned almost every time. I only had to actually investigate once
