Of all the games of the 1995 season, this was really the best preview or rehearsal of exactly what they were going to do to Florida.

Watching the Blackshirts was well worth the price of admission.....I sure miss that Coach McBride attacking scheme

Keep in mind that 1995 Kansas State not only led the NCAA Division I-A in total defense, they shutout three opponents and won their bowl game by 33 points

And Nebraska did this to THAT team

(Heck even their non-Husker loss was a respectable 27-17 vs Colorado)

Bob Stoops, Mike Stoops and Brent Venables coached on this KSU team. Bob left KSU after this season to be DC at Florida under Spurrier, where he stayed until he became HC at OU. Mike and Brent were Co DCs at KSU from '96 until they left to join Bob at OU in '99. Bob recruited Brent to KSU (he was at Garden City JC) in '91 where he played LB for 2 seasons. Coach Snyder had some very high profile Coordinators and Positional Coaches during those great KSU seasons.

Thanks for posting ! Keep up the great work. GBR!

At 2:28:51 is a K State fan praying for the game to just be over with already.  I knew one of the famous Husker O lineman from this year, and he told me that even he feared for his life during practices against the Nebraska D.

Love this channel GBR

@ bmboldt...thank you Sir, i appreciate the footage.

A summer place love unlimited orchestra

During his career as a pro, Martin Grammatica was often called "Automatica Grammatica."  Early miss in this game notwithstanding....

Phish played an electric show in Lincoln on this day

16:17. There’s a statue at Memorial Stadium depicting that very tackle.

ESPN/ABC sportscaster Mark Jones almost a Kansas City Chiefs radio play-by-play announcer.

Nebraska really pissed off espn when the 1995 and 71 teams were named the top 2 of all time.

Locket 1 foot beautiful pass though defender hands to locket nice didn't know that about stoops and others under Bill Snyder this was beginning of my time spent in Omaha neb when they had all the jobs not anymore 36 and Q

great post - quite possibly the worst announcing team of the century

:18 What the hell is that to Mark Jones left?

This was the last season of The Big8, and the top 4 teams were Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas St and......Kansas (who ended the season ranked #9!). All 4 of those are finding it tough sledding right now. Kansas is just plain awful lol.

Ah the good old.days of the airplane flying over college stadiums

Eh, Nebraska got lucky on this game, but that team probably never amounted to much...
