Almost Breaking the Slow Mo Camera Again - The Slow Mo Guys

The Slow Mo Guys

Gav and Dan, with the help of some old friends, attempt to smash a pint glass with a golf ball. It happens nice and quickly and definitely didn't generate over 60 hours of slow motion footage to look through.

I like the feeling of old youtube of just attempting it a thousand times with buds instead of partnering with a giant golf youtube channel.

The shot at 12:00 where the ball doesn't move up, down left nor right, but float still in the air and just gets bigger and bigger until it hits the camera, was amazing.

Jed came back after 15 years, did the impossible, and left without a trace

This is why I watch SloMoGuys.
The slow mo footage is cool and all, but it doesn't hold a candle to 'Friends doing stuff'

It's actually insane how much Jorge looks exactly like a slightly younger Gavin.

Like your parents didn't even try to have variety in their kids, Genetics said "just Ctrl-C Ctrl-V that'll do lad."

I think whoever sold you that “polycarbonate” needs a scathing review on their website. 😂

12:00 The shot where the ball is absolutely stationary in shot, just getting larger, is amazing.

the way Gav ran towards the camera was exactly how a Dad would run towards his kid as soon as they hurt themselves

That's just Gav in a hoodie, you can't fool us

Three blokes (plus one swing) missing a pint of beer for 20 minutes is a better video than 99.9% of the videos on the internet.

Those 3-ball composite shots were such a great idea. Also, there's 2 frames at 14:06 where Jed got so close, the sun refracting through the beer light up the ball!

Obligatory "we got Jorge and Jed on the channel before GTA 6" ✓

I just realized that we get to watch the Slow Mo Guys age in slow motion with every video throughout the years

@8:30 I found it incredibly cool how the pint seemingly floats/hovers in place as the wooden post wobbles beneath

This has to be the first UK filmed Slow Mo Guys in years right? Feels like the old days in the back garden

"Just a little higher" ball proceeds to enter low Earth orbit.

18:05 Damn, Dan didn't even spill a drop of that.

Bro seeing Gav with a little grey peppered into his hair and beard make me so proud of these guys. They've been doing this so long and they both genuinely love what they do even after all this time :)
