"They different".  Facts.  One of the very rare bands who sound as good (or better) live in concert.  Every member of the band is a master of their craft.

Danny Carey, the drummer, is one of the best drummers of all time. His time signatures are unique and unexpected, and that's what makes TOOL, TOOL. He is also an accomplished Jazz drummer and infuses African and Middle eastern rhythms into his music. If you want to see him in his true glory, you have to check out his live performance of Pnuema.

Next has got to be “46 and 2” by Tool.

Fun fact...tool guitarist Adam Jones and Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello were buddies from high school... and more than that, at one point Morello was deciding between Maynard and Zach as their singer. That decision worked out good for the world in the end, cuz it gave us two amazing bands.

Vicarious off the same album is phenomenal as well. The bass line on this song is crazy.

Also, Maynard sang on a Rage Against the Machine song called “Know Your Enemy” from their 1992 album, and it is an absolute BANGER. He did a song with the Deftones called Passenger that people  go crazy for.

Tool is something special man. This is the kind of rabbit hole EVERYONE should experience.

A kangaroo court is a trial where the outcome is already decided before it starts. And the head bob thing I feel like is where you are running head long into the biggest musical culture shock of stepping outside of hip hop. The beats in a lot of rock/metal will switch up. Time signatures, especially with bands like Tool and Meshuggah rarely stick to a simple 4/4. They have movements where the entire nature of the song switches up then doubles back on it's self, then breaks down to do it all over again. It keeps the music from being repetitive and predictable.

New favorite reaction channel.  Dude, keep up with NOT liking what you don't like.... the lack of fakeness is very, very refreshing.  Follow what you do like, don't pretend to like what you don't, and you gonna go FAR.  Great stuff.
