These Fossil Coral Geodes are Hiding Something INCREDIBLE Inside! Rock Hunt & Cutting Adventure!

The day has finally come! We were able to make it back to the river to hunt for agatized coral geodes! This location exposes an ancient coral reef, but what makes it extra special is that the coral is often replaced with agate and other minerals in the form of geodes! We ended up finding all sorts of beautiful specimens and found some to take home and cut on the saw!

The fossilized oysters look like angel wings once you cut them open. Beautiful!

Kyle, you need to get the hose and wash out that very first piece that you cut. I think you’re gonna find that it’s better than you think you can get that clay out of there. I know you can keep on keeping on.

Kyle, I think that you would enjoy reading a kids book called, The Wonky Donkey. I have been loving all of your videos. I constantly look at the ground and gravel beds here along the Humber River in Toronto. I used to take my greyhound, Boscoe, a rescue from Florida racing, bushwacking with me. I don't think that he got as excited about my worked chert discoveries as I did. I have found numerous very large crinoids stalk fragments. So, far, no calyx. Happy hunting to you, Natalie, Paleo Chris et al, from, Canada.
