Liam, tell Steph about the 1st day of filming. When Depp started acting, the director called "Cut" and pulled Depp aside. He asked what the hell he was doing because he was supposed to be a pirate, but the character he made was weird. Depp told him to give him to the end of the day (I've also heard it was 3 days) and if the director still didn't like Sparrow, Johnny would create a different character. At the end of the day, the director said to Johnny, "OK, I get it. Keep on." And without Jack Sparrow, there probably wouldn't have been any sequels.

7:05 "oh, it's illegal to be a pirate??" - of course it's illegal, what do you mean?? 😂😂

22:44 Ah yes, the time Captain Jack Sparrow casually broke the laws of physics.

They call those SHIPS!🤣🤣🤣🤣

there can only be one jack sparrow nobody else could have played jack sparrow like mr depp.. he truly was born for this character.

Barbossa: "I feel-" jump cuts to him dead

That edit absolutely destroyed me

Johnny Depp has gone in character to loads of children’s hospitals to cheer up the kids over the years

Bootstraps bootstraps 😂

Keira knightley was just 17 years old when this this movie was filming

FYI: The cannons could shoot grapeshot to kill the crew, regular shot to impair the ship, and chainshot to kill the sails and masts.

30:00 "undead" is the term.

06:18 . . . not allowed in those days - a formal meeting between ' gentry & a pauper '  . . .

This movie is even more fun when you grew up with the original ride at Disneyland. That's what the movie is based on and so the movie is very precious to us with those childhood memories. We lived very close to Disneyland back in the 60s and 70s and it was affordable. We used to go a lot. That was my favorite ride on a hot summer day, because it was dark and cool inside. The dog with the bone scene in the jail and the pirate town are straight out of the ride 😂

56:05  That was an iconic and sad moment.. Barbossa wants to eat apple after the curse's lifted.. He would love apples but he couldn't taste it. Because he feels nothing.. So he saved an apple in his pocket for lifting curse.. I believe he was so excited like a child to finally could eat it.. But when the curse lifted, the only thing he felt was "Cold from death". Not an apple taste.. That scene show it to us.. An unbitten apple :(

Great series . The black pearl was built 10 min from my home

Glad you guys caught on the Commodore. He’s a good dude through and through. Always trying to do the right thing. Even when it’s not to his benefit.

I love this movie and love your channel! That Batman returns Batmobile in the background is awesome! ❤

Johnny Depp has a long history of visiting children's hospitals worldwide.
He trys to bring to bring joy, laughter, and hope to young patients and their families during difficult times.
It's inspired by his own daughter’s serious illness in 2007, he wants to provide a distraction for the children and support  parents.
He discribes each visit as a deeply personal and meaningful experience.
This is done on his own time with no cameras.
Now if he could only help me with my grammer.

One of the best all-time movies teaching us life and imagination are important inventing our own stories!

24:11 classic😂
